Miss Allysha

Miss Allysha has been dancing and practicing contortion her entire life. She was very excited to start assisting students at the age of 14 in all genres and her love for teaching has only grown from there! At the age of 16, Allysha took her first choreographic pieces to the Simcoe County Area. Eventually, she started teaching dance (Acro, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Contortion, and Lyrical/ Contemporary) and she competed provincially with her numbers receiving first overalls and choreographic excellence awards. When Miss Allysha graduated high school, she decided to go to York for her BFA in Dance Choreography and com- pleted one and a half years. The knowledge and training she received solidified her passion to teach dance for the rest of her life. That year, she also took more of her pieces to national competitions, placing within the top 10, first overall and winning three overall choreography awards.

This summer, Miss Allysha will be attending the Dance Masters of America Teacher Training School where she will complete her level 2 certificate. She is also in the works of fully certifying in her Beginner and Inter- mediate Acrobatique syllabi. She is always continuing to strengthen her teaching skills and is very excited to continue at All That's Dance for the season!

Miss Allysha has worked with students of all ages & levels of ability and looks forward to sharing her talents with current and future students of All That's Dance & more.
