Competitive Programs
The Competitive Program is for the dancer who wants to further express themselves in the education of the arts. In order to be considered for this program a student must be enrolled in a tap, jazz, ballet and acrobatics class. Those particular candidates are then asked to participate in an audition. Once they have passed, then the students must be enrolled in a tap, jazz, ballet, acrobatics and a rehearsal class.
New students who have previously competed for another studio are asked to prepare a 1 minute audition dance in jazz or ballet which features their best skills. They must also take a class audition and upon being accepted must register in a tap, jazz, ballet, acro, and rehearsal class.
Competitive students take part in performances and competitions throughout the year, as well as the year end recital.
